Great Hairspray But a Tad Pricey
I love the Outer Space hairspray. It’s a definitely a light-weight hairspray that doesn’t make your hair feel tacky or stiff to the touch, which is what I expect from my hair products. I normally lean heavily towards Bumble and Bumble hair products across the board; however, with the Outer Space hairspray I make an exception. I’m glad that my stylist turned me on to the product five years ago. Though I will say it has gotten a little pricey @ $36.00 for a single can of the stuff. I thought $30.00 was a tad expensive when I first started using Outer Space. Even with inflation, a $6.00 bump in price is a bit high, in my opinion. However, I really like the Outer Spray hairspray. I can run my hands through my hair and there is no resistance because of the hairspray. My hair is soft and touchable yet it holds my hair in the style I created before applying the Outer Spray hairspray. Overall, I definitely recommend the product. And even though it’s pricey @ $36.00 a can, it does last me 3-4 months of almost daily application, though I don’t use a lot of it because my hair is not that long. If I had shoulder length hair or longer, I would estimate that a can would last maybe 2 months. But as the finishing product on your hair, you want something that is good and you absolutely cannot go wrong with the Outer Space hairspray.

Its good, but you need to wash your hair after use or you get flakes
I love almost everything about this hairspray. As a man, its difficult to find a hairspray that does not give your hair a very wet stiff look. This hairspray takes care of that. It has a good hold, nice matte finish and pleasant smell. The bottle is also huge. It took me about 8 months to finish it off. Now that bad news, if you don't wash your hair, you will get flakes. If you apply it in the morning, later in the evening you will have flakes. If you try to re-style your hair after a few hours, you get flakes. Because of the insane amount of flaking this product causes, I would not recommend.

Best hairspray I've ever used!
I was looking for a hairspray that would not be stiff or sticky, would not leave my hair dull, would repel moisture & not leave me frizzy on a rainy day & easy to brush out. THIS IS IT ... plus it comes in full size & travel which is small enough to be in my carry-on on a plane. I read reviews that said people had experienced problems with the sprayer not working for the entire contents. Years ago I had the same thing happen with a different brand & learned then it was a good idea to either rinse the nozzle or at least wipe it off after use. I'm on my second full size & travel cans & haven't had that problem. It's a little pricy but lasts a long time.

Smells bad, buy Viscious instead
I was debating whether to try this hairspray or the Viscious strong hold one by the same brand, I was worried the Viscious hold would be overkill so I decided to try this one first. I saw that other reviews complained about the smell, and I definitely have to agree with them. It's worse than your average hairspray smell, and I found that it lingered all day and haunted me with feelings of regret. I also didn't find it very effective when it came to holding curls, but my hair naturally wants to be straight so maybe it works fine for others. I wound up buying Viscious hold instead, which has proven to have a much more neutral smell that doesn't linger, and it's more effective at holding curls without giving that obvious hairspray look. Let this be a cautionary tale for those experiencing the same hairspray conundrum-- protect your olfactory system from this scourge!

Bad Nozzle - Won’t Spray
Frustrating purchase! Won’t buy again. I love R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray. HOWEVER, the spray nozzle makes it impossible to use. I have purchased this brand multiple times and it continues to be a problem. Removing the plastic spray head and cleaning it does absolutely nothing. I even switched a workable sprayer from another can/brand of hairspray, and it didn’t work. I now have a useless, full can that cannot be returned. As this has happened with previous cans, I’m giving up and will look for another brand of hairspray that I can rely on. Too expensive to try again. What’s the point of making a good hairspray if it doesn’t spray ? 👎

The best!
I've tried a lot of different hairsprays, and regardless of the price, found I didn't like most of them. They either left my hair too stiff or sticky, or they gave me no hold at all. The other issue has been the sprayers; some of them are so hard to spray that it's difficult to use them, and some come shooting out too forcefully. I'm so glad I decided to try this brand though; I Iove everything about it ... except for the cost. It's not cheap, but I love the formulation as well as the sprayer--It gives my fine thin hair enough hold, but doesn't leave it stiff or hard to brush out.

You can't get the product out of the can!
The hairspray itself is wonderful. The spray can IS NOT. I use hairspray Maybe once a month. After 6 weeks the can stopped spraying and instead, filled the reservoir around the nozzle with fluid. I ran outer nozzle under hot water, didn't help. I pulled sprayer nozzle off and ran the little tube under hot water, no help. I picked both of them with a needle, no help. I soaked the Spray nozzle overnight in isopropyl alcohol, no help. I turned the can upside down in a jar and soaked the little tube overnight in isopropyl alcohol, no help. I own a $37, 98% full can of hairspray that is totally useless. Very frustrating

Grrr…
While I love this spray, and have used it for years, I continually have issues with it suddenly stop spraying. I’ve tried blow into the nozzle, running it under hot water and it doesn’t help. I have to leave it alone and usually it clears itself by the next day. But it’s frustrating when you’re getting ready to go to work and you’re spraying your hair and it suddenly stops. That’s my only complaint about this product. Otherwise I truly do love it.

Fantastic hairspray!
I found this hairspray when my hair was being styled for my son’s wedding. It is very light and holds the hair perfectly. It smells great too. I have asthma but this one doesn’t bother me. It also doesn’t bother the psoriasis on my head ( most do). The only thing wrong with it is that it is priced way to high. I can’t buy it very often. Luckily I have points. Yes I recommend this product.

Product stops spraying
This is a great product when it comes out of the canister. However, the last two times I purchased this hairspray it stopped spraying with about 75% of it still full. I thought the first time was a fluke but it happened on the next purchase too. Cleaning the cap in water or other methods don’t work.

No refunds and it makes your hair, stiff and hard
This product does NOT give a flexible hold. I usually use bumble and bumble hairspray because it gives a nice soft hold. Bumble and bumblehas memory for the curls and does not make your hair hard like this hairspray does and buyer beware they will not refund your $37 which is what I paid for it. It is very expensive and I didn’t realize I would not be able to get my money back if I did not like it. What a scam!

Broken Nozzle
This is a great hairspray, but unfortunately I had issues with the nozzle after one use as well. Amazon won’t take returns or replace, and so it’s not worth purchasing and being out the $$$ for nothing.

Great for a paper weight
