I have thin blonde hair and have used every hairspray under the sun. This is the ONLY hairspray that has worked for me and kept my hair in place. It is a little more on the hard side than flexible and doesn’t comb out great but it does keep hair in place without making it look stiff. It also makes my hair look a little fuller. Bottom line it’s the only hairspray I use.
I have thin hair, and when I curl it, the curls fall quickly, so I always need hair spray. I have tried many. This spray holds my hair, but does not feel heavy, or look like I have hairspray in it. I don’t notice a scent with this, which I like. I think it’s a little expensive, but worth it. !
I heard about this R+Co Hair spray on one of those Amazon Videos.Any way i am pretty picky when it comes to hairspray or any Hair products.This is a great spray.It has a nice light scent that fades pretty fast so if your sensitive to strong scents this is not one of them.The spray itself is impressive, it is strong holding i didn't notice i had any on which i prefer.I don't like my hair sticky or stiff and this does not do that.This kept my style through the day and one thing i did notice is it had a little shine not sure if it was from this or my shampoo and conditioner but i believe its this spray.Also tamed the frizzes i tend to get now and than .I have no issue with the spray nozzel and mine arrived with cover in perfect condition.This is one spray i will repurchase when im half way through .This and oribe are my favorites so im rotating between the two.Thank you to Blue mercury inc for the speedy shipping and delivery and of course i wanna mention they packaged this perfect so it wouldn't get damaged in transit.will order from them again.
This hairspray works really good I try a few different ones and the kind at the usual local stores don't work for my hair because it's thick but also heavy without product so about two hours later the style comes out but at least there's no frizzy texture. This held up with not lots of spray just the usual all over mist and since I was using pin curls I also spent time under the hair dryer so each hair section was totally dry before I took the bobby pins out and they were not hard still soft but springy. I still had curls the next day too so this lasted during sleeping on a pillow and also night sweats. So happy that a brand of hair spray can do what I need it to for styling
8/24/22 Update: I just can't recommend this anymore. After using it for about 8 months, the flaking this product causes is comical. For 28$ I expected it to not dry into white flakes. It's super annoying if you apply it early in the day and try to re-style your hair in the evening. You might as well take a shower because nothing will stop the flakes aside from washing the product out of your hair. As a man that has a hard time finding good hair products, this NAILS it. After a pre-styler, this will lock the hair in place but not in a cheap aqua net way. The hold is solid but still has some flex to it. After it dries you can brush again and the style will hold but your hair will be able to have natural movement to it. Wonderful product worth every penny.
The product is so light it doesn't feel like you even have spray in your hair, but it holds! The reason for the review is that mine came with no LID! Luckily it hadn't emptied itself in shipping but really, a lid is absolutely necessary! I had one on an old can from a different company that fit this product can , but that is the only thing that kept it from being utterly useless.
This spray was always my favorite. It costs a lot more than others, but the scent was worth it. Now, it smells like all other sprays. Won't be ordering again.
The product is great Highly recommend it You only need a little bit. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because when I ordered this it stated if you purchase two bottles you will receive a voucher via email for 50% off on your next order I never received the email. Never received a voucher and could of saved money ordering a difertent product at the time. So buyers be aware and check out other products . Don’t count on promised discounts
I absolutely love this company. I bought for my hair which is hard to do much with it holds amazing. The smell of normal hairspray stinks, but this one smells amazing. Doesn’t make my hair feel gross, and is fast drying.
I usually don’t write reviews for products but this is definitely a big exception. This is the best spray I used in a while! I am used to putting pomade to style my hair but it can get difficult to hold it until I started using this spray. The only thing is that you need to be careful on how much you spray because if not it will be like rock solid or you can see some white spots if you don’t distribute it well. The great magic of this spray is that even with the rain my hair hold for some extra time. Worth the price 10/10
I have been using this hair spray for several years. It holds well without being to stiff, and the scent is amazing! I often get compliments on my "perfume" even though it is this hair spray, yet it doesn't over power.
I can only use hairspray in the winter but when I do this product has been my go to for a few years now. Good hold without being a helmet head, gives volume if you spray at the roots. It also doesn't give me that dandruff looking flakes at the base of my hair that other sprays have given me in the past. I love it!
The odor is extremely strong and pungent. I can only describe at times it smells to me like bile, like I've vomited with a stomach bug. It is the oddest thing, probably not the right description but tough to explain......I don't think I'll be able to use it because of it. It holds the hair, but not that much more than my Aquage and certainly not enough to deal with the odor. I would think it today's technology that company's could make products like this that have very little, if any, odor. I prefer to use perfume if I want to scent myself, not my hair and certainly not to this level. I wanted to love this, but I just can't. :(
This may be the very worst hairspray I have used! The reason you ask: no hold at all not even slightly…DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE TRUST ME!!!

R+Co is such a cool line, I have loved this spray since it first came out. It gives you SUPER strong hold but isn't sticky, smells great like all of their products do, and for a premium hair spray the price is good. Hard to beat their branding and label designs as well (if you're into that sort of thing). Always my go-to spray.
It holds my locs in beautiful spirals for days! However, it makes my scalp itch, and if it drifts (whiel soraying) to my forehead or anywhere else, I break out (I have eczema) . So, I'm looking for a different brand. However, the few times I still use it, I'm super careful about where it drifts and wash it out immediately after the event it was put on for.
Strange.. it’s doesn’t seem like the product I normally order. The hold is different.

What a Waste of $$$$. Gummy. Oily texture. Curls gell out before I left home. I seldom ever write reviews BUT Complete waste of $$$$. This product was stopped bad I had to. Did I mention NO RETURNS??
I ordered this hairspray on May 2, 2026. I was very excited to try it because I do like the thickening spray very much. Unfortunately I had to throw it away. It expired 8 months ago!!!! Be sure to check the date printed on the bottom as soon as you receive it. That was a very expensive waste.

Doesn't hold my hair at all, so disappointed!
I have medium to thick hair and this product does not hold as described. I've used cheap drugstore sprays that whold better. My main go-to is Oribe Superfine Strong, but I thought this would be better based on the description. Sadly this is not the case. Don't waste your money on this product.
If you have fine hair, this is the best stuff I've found. Doesn't leave you head feeling too greasy the next day.

It does not hold my hair. Looks great then falls flat. Seems weighty. Comes out so forceful that it actually blows style out of place.
Those hairspray is not at all strong hold. It's more like Doesn't Hold strength. $30 is a lot for weak performance. You can't return it, so you will be stuck with it
