Terrible! I’ve been using this product for years and I decided to order this on amazon bc my salon stopped carrying it. I knew right away it wasn’t the same product. They changed the consistency. It feels like it’s watered down. Definitely doesn’t have that same thick feel to it. Will not be buying this again.
The actual real product is 5/5 stars, but I ordered this in February and the product I received was a completely different formula. Super watery, weird color, weird smell. I’ve ordered this multiple times so I thought it was just a bad bottle, but I just received my next order and it’s the same issue. I have no idea what’s happening but I won’t try ordering it again.
MY FAVORITE HAIR PRODUCT. I had really bad dead ends from flat ironing my hair. Im obsessed with long hair and really didn't want to cut it. I used this product every morning, with my hair wet or dry, and the results are amazing. My fiancé uses it as well. We purchased two for his mom! Great gift as well she loved the results.
This leave in conditioner had a nice smooth feel. I pumped a few times into my hands, and smoothed it through my hair with my fingers. I dried my hair as usual, and I thought my hair had a nice bounce and a clean feel. No product residue. The scent was a little bit strong for me, but I think it dissipated quickly.
My hair is brittle, thin, and shed's - I have been using this without mouse and this week I can tell the difference not pulling as much hair off my cloths and more manageable in the evenings. I will buy this again.
What happened to the consistency of the product? This is a watery substance. Not the same product. First time I have had any issues.

It seems to tame my thirsty porous hair. Smells like Raw Shea Butter Moisture retention shampoo, which I like. Maybe a strong smell for others ..I'm hoping the more I use it the better my hair will behave. I used it after shampooing, and while hair was damp. I only rated it a 4 star since I feel it didn't make my hair shiny like it claims.
Works great as a leave in conditioner. My only complaint is that it smells pretty. I was looking for no scent. My wife likes it and it makes my daughter's hair very easy to brush through.
I just finished a bottle of this after close to two years of using it. I am sooooo disappointed with what happened — the mud used to be a creamy, lotion-like texture but now it’s completely watered down. I shook the bottle and it sounds like it’s liquid, not the leave in conditioner it should be. I was considering returning but I’m not even sure that I can at this point as I’ve already opened it. and it seems from the newer reviews that even if I ordered a new one, it would be liquidy as well. so disappointed. this was a staple in my hair care routine for so long. time to find a new one! the only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the original used to be phenomenal. don’t waste your money on this one :/
Bought on Prime Day because I love this product. It had a weird consistency, checked the bottom and found it expired in 2020z
Product is a watered down mess, waiting to happen. Difficult to get it into your hair without getting it everywhere other than where it should be. Second time getting the product this way and I’m very disappointed, especially with the price I paid for a terribly, gone wrong product that used to be excellent.

I was concerned about the dark color affecting my highlights but I did not notice it dulling my hair color. I love the smell of this product. The product spreads nicely throughout my hair and provides it with a smooth finish afterwards. Overall I am pleased with the final look.

This is a wonderful product. Love that you leave it in as a conditioner. Leaves my hair soft and easy to comb after it has been colored. It does look like mud but don’t let that fool you.
This "mud" is great. It has a nice scent and leaves my hair shiny and without frizz.

This leave in the mud helps condition your hair, and it has a mild, exotic scent that is sweet but not too overbearing. I don’t think it is as moisturizing as some leave in conditioners, but it did an OK job.
