The K1-AS cartridge is installed in a water treatment system as a prefiltration stage. In the first filtration zone, an increased volume of AQUALEN sorption media captures coarse mechanical particles, sand, and iron compounds at the initial stage of treatment. Water then passes through the second zone, where activated coconut carbon reinforced with AQUALEN fiber provides fine filtration down to 3 microns and adsorbs dissolved impurities. The cartridge should be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommended schedule or when a noticeable reduction in filtration performance is observed.
