The AQUAPHOR Pro H is a replacement filter cartridge designed for water softening in sorption filtration systems that do not incorporate a reverse osmosis membrane. Install the cartridge into a compatible Aquaphor Pro series sorption filtration system as a replacement element. The service life of the cartridge depends on the hardness level of the incoming water supply — harder water will deplete the ion-exchange resin capacity more rapidly. Once filtration efficiency begins to decline, the cartridge can be restored through a regeneration procedure, which extends its usable life without requiring immediate replacement. When regeneration is no longer sufficient to restore performance, or when the resin capacity has been fully exhausted, the cartridge should be replaced with a new unit.
