AQUAPHOR Replacement Filter Cartridge Set K3-K7B-K7
Brief description
The K3-K7B-K7 replacement cartridge set is designed for the Crystal ECO under-counter stationary absorption filter. The set provides up to one year of reliable service and is rated to purify 8,000 litres of tap water. Three cartridges work in sequence to deliver multi-stage removal of contaminants of varying types and sizes.
The set effectively reduces chlorine, iron, lead and other heavy metals, petroleum products, pesticides, and organic compounds, and removes bacteria and cysts. The K3 CarbFiber cartridge handles primary filtration, capturing mechanical particles down to 10 microns along with chlorine, lead, and bacteria. The K7B cartridge combines a carbon block with a hollow fibre membrane capable of filtering out contaminants as small as 0.1 microns; half of its internal volume is taken up by the membrane, whose pores are approximately 1,000 times thinner than a human hair. The K7 cartridge serves as the final polishing stage, removing particles down to 0.8 microns for thorough end-stage purification. The cartridges do not soften water or reduce mineral hardness, making this set suitable for soft water supplies only. Under standard conditions the full set has a service life of 8,000 litres or one year, whichever comes first.
All three cartridges are replaced together as a complete set and require no special tools for installation. It is essential to install the cartridges in the correct sequence — K3 as the first stage, K7B as the second, and K7 as the third — to maintain the intended filtration efficiency and full service life of the set.
