Great for adults too!
This Little a green conditioning rinse is definitely marketed as a kids conditioner, but I’m here to tell you it works great for adults with fine textured hair as well! I have a LOT of fine textured hair that has been highlighted and colored, so it is always an interesting trick to find a conditioner that will nourish and detangle my lightened hair, but not be too heavy for the rest of my hair and weigh it down. This came out of the tube quite a bit thicker than I thought it would, so it does work well on my dry ends. I applied most of it to mid shaft on down, but then did apply the rest of what was on my hands to my roots downwards. I always comb my conditioner through in the shower, as my hair tangled very easily. It did take a little effort to get through the ends of my hair, but it worked, and I have certainly fought more with other conditioners in the past. The smell of this is also clearly marked to little ones- to me it seemed it had a fruity, possibly green apple mixed with candy scent? Not my favorite, but also not remotely offensive, and it does dissipate. Out of the shower, I towel dried with a microfiber towel, and combed through again- not applying any additional hair products. Remarkably, it was not difficult to comb through my hair! When at all possible, I do like to let me hair air dry, which is what I did. As it was nighttime, it dried to about 95-98% dry before I went to bed. Woke up the next morning with lovely hair (I do sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase every night to cut down on frizz factor). My air dried hair had a nice, subtle wave to it, no frizziness, and a nice shine. The best part? My roots were not weighed down at all! I have tried SO many high end salon approved conditioners designed for color treated hair, and most don’t hold a candle to the shine this imparted- and most require additional products in my hair in order to comb through or not be a frizz ball. I’d love to see this manufacturer offer an adult version if this with a different scent (do they?) or possibly other scents in the range for people who aren’t all that keen on this scent. It’s not a deal breaker though, as the scent does dissipate and really isn’t bad (just child-like). 10/10 recommend for fine textured hair!
