I was looking for a very high quality bowl to last me my life. I found it, no expense spared on the gloss or anything. It's a solid dense ceramic. To be honest it's not 5 times better than a 5 times cheaper bowl but it's the best bowl at it's quality; you could get 5 cheap bowls for this price but I just needed one bowl and wanted it to be high quality.
I was feeling guilty for spending so much money on a bowl but this thing is so beautiful. Hope it last for many many years
I Love this bowl. It is pricey, just dont break it! Mine came in on time perfect condition. Ive read complaints on the silver rings... Mine were just fine it makes a legendary lather. I hand mine with kid gloves. Guys buy this to complete your wet shaving sets. good luck
I like the size of this bowel. It's not too big and is easy to hold in hand. However even for the high price and the made in Germany hype I did not receive a bowel that has perfect finish. The black is perfect but the silver rim is not. There are spot of silver that's not solid silver and has some black showing through. Above that, this bowel is not the easiest bowel to lather with.
For the price, I expected perfection but did not receive it. There were a few small areas of the silver lip that were missing and the bowl is smaller than I would have hoped, making it difficult to lather with my Simpsons Chubby 1 when using crème and not soap. However, it holds heat well and I really like how it feels in my hand.
The agitator bump is awesome making a nice lather.
It fits the soap he uses!
Beautifully made shaving cup. You get what you pay for
absolutely beautiful
Outstanding German quality!
Looks good and solid.
This bowl has a knob on it that doesn’t show up in pictures.
