It moisturizes well but can be heavy
The shampoo in this set is hugely drying, so it's no wonder the conditioner is so heavy! It takes some extra time to rinse out, but I do let it sit for quite a few minutes on my head to allow as much of the moisture in as possible. Perhaps I need to rinse it out sooner, as that takes a lot of time to do! It smells like expensive perfume and feels thick and almost a little more waxy than cream; almost like a shea butter body butter! Perhaps that is why it is so moisturizing. I have very dry hair, and it is at my shoulders, so you don't need much or it can weigh down my already thick head of hair! So a little definitely goes a long way!

The beauty shop I go to carries this company and uses it on their clients. I love it. It smells sooo awesome and it works on my hair. I also feel that since I use this product I loose a lot less hair.

Very pleasant smell and protects my color
I play sports so have to wash my hair frequently. This product gets the job done without stripping my color so my hair comes out shiny. The light scent is very nice. I use the conditioner that goes with it and the two have kept my brown hair in good shape. I'll be buying it again.

Great Sulfate free, color safe shampoo
I have been using R&Co shampoo for 2+ years now. It's one of the few sulfate free shampoos that I don't get a rash on my scalp with. It also saves my color treated hair. I have fine hair, so it's gentle too. It doesn't leave a film on my head. I love this stuff.

After using it for a few days I realized how nice it felt
I didn't realize I had an itchy scalp until I tried this shampoo. After using it for a few days I realized how nice it felt. It isn't crazy foamy but I never felt as though my hair wasn't clean. I have super fine hair so greasy hair will not work for me. The no shampooing phase would never work for my hair type. This shampoo smells great, cleans and doesn't make my hair dry.

Will strip the color out of your hair
Even though this is marketed for colored hair, I have fashion/vivid red hair and after just one wash it striped the color of my hair leaving it looking faded and dry. Definitely do not recommend this product.

Disappointed
I have a couple other R+Co products that I like, so I was excited to try this on my color treated hair. I was super disappointed after the first use! Not only did it strip out literally all of the color from my hair, it left it very dry and super tangled. Waste of money. Won’t be buying this again.

Nice smell - but, hair not clean enough...
I purchased this shortly after getting highlights and had high hopes, especially given the price and reputation. While the scent is light and pleasant, my hair felt like there was still hairspray residue in it —even with a 2nd wash. After a few weeks of use, I noticed my highlights looking noticeably dull and faded, which was disappointing. For a product at this price point, I expected a much better result.

Love R+Co
Love R+Co products! I typically prefer the television line, but it’s nice to switch it up. I will say, it does help hold your color and it smells amazing. As it is pretty concentrated, I have to section my hair with applying and rinsing out but it makes my hair feel great!

color lasts
Had problem with hair color washing out after shampooing and thinning hair. This shampoo not only makes my hair color last longer, it also greatly reduced hair falling out. I like that it is paraben and sulfate free. The fragrance is light, but pleasant. The shampoo is thick and goes a long way. More suds would be nice, but that is the tradeoff for a natural product. It lathers enough to still do the job. I use a small amount of conditioner after shampooing as the shampoo leaves my hair feeling dry and tangled. Am using an organic conditioner I purchased with a different organic type shampoo. It does a good job. Other people have commented on the R+Co conditioner being too thick so plan to stick with the Pura D'or conditioner I am presently using. My hair stylist commented on how healthy my hair is, especially since I have been coloring it for years. I did switch to Madison Reed light ash brown hair color which doesn't turn brassy or yellow after a few shampoos. Also, Madison Reed does not cause itchy bumps on my scalp like I experienced with other color products, even "organic" ones.

This is a real review. I have used the Dallas shampoo and conditioner by R &Co for years. I recently dyed my hair and my hair stylist recommended this product to help shield my color from fading. It smells nice, I think it helped a little bit with fading, but I must say, I prefer the Dallas shampoo and conditioner, that makes you hair feel thick, but it does not protect from sun like this one.

Smell was off the second time I bought this shampoo
The second time I bought this product (in May of this year), that wonderful smell in both shampoo and the conditioner was “off” as if something had happened to that batch. I was so disappointed and will not be buying this again. I was paying more for that wonderful scent but instead was given two spoiled bottles.

Say What?!
Left my normal hair a tangled squeaky mess. And the scent was really awful, overpowering, have no idea just what it was s'posed to represent. I'd hate to use this on actual dyed hair!! Returned along with matching conditioner, same issues. Recommended by my new hairstylist, who adores this brand. Never again will I purchase from R+Co.

Stripped my hair
