Expensive but definitely worth it
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I use the Foundation Mist plus the ORIBE Hair Care Curl Control Silkening Crème, 5 fl. oz. to refresh my hair daily, and the two products together allow me to stretch the time between shampoos to DAYS on end. Before switching to Oribe, I'd have to wash my fluffy, curly hair every other day because it quickly became dry, frizzy, and tangled. Now I enjoy soft, bouncy, volumized, frizz-free, wonderfully scented hair that actually looks better with each passing day between shampoos. The scent remains beautiful as the days go by, and the Oribe products never leave my hair sticky or weighed down. I'm currently also using the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner...no other hair care or styling products are needed besides these four Oribe products. So although the products are expensive, it's worth it because they save me a ton of time, I use much less product than with other brands, and I no longer have bad hair days. My hair has never looked or felt better.

The scent is beautiful and natural
The scent is beautiful and natural, as though you've spent an hour in a fragrant garden filled with delicate flowers and fragrant herbs. Does an amazing job of adding lift, shine, texture and volume and smoothness with precisely zero frizz in a humid southern coastal area, which is miraculous. A little goes a long way and if your hair is delicate and can't hold up to frequent washing, you could go three days or more without having to shampoo. It holds its shape and even stands up to multiple stylings. This is one of those cases where spending money saves money. It's an essential hair care product. Your coiffure will stay sweetly scented for days on end and is a must have for fine or thinning hair. It's as though my mane has doubled in quality and quantity since I started using it months ago. Yes, I had my doubts but they've all been banished. You simply cannot find a better all-in-one, healthy, luxuriant product out there. The hype is all its cracked up to be!

Not sure I would order this again? Is it really Oribe product or something watered down?
My stylist uses this each time I am at the salon and I'm not certain what I purchased from Amazon is really Oribe product. The salon product has a fairly strong smell (which I like) and this has little to no smell at all. i'm hoping this is not counterfeit, and will bring it to my stylist to see what's up.

Don't waste your money if you are looking for a detangler/styling product. Get Oribe Royal Blowout instead.
I love Oribe products, but this one was the most useless Oribe product I have ever bought. In the past, I've used Oribe Royal Blowout on my damp, clean hair to detangle and prep my hair for styling. I saw this "Foundation Mist" online and thought I'd give it a try. I used the same amount of the product, and found that my hair was still tangled and "squeaky" as I combed through my hair. I had lots of tangles left and didn't notice any difference after using it. The second time I applied much more of the product and STILL found my hair hard to comb through. I am going back to Oribe Royal Blowout for my detangling and styling prep product. It works great and I don't have to use very much of it to get the benefit. Don't waste your time on this product if you want a detangler/leave in conditioner - buy Oribe Royal Blowout instead. OH, and the seller of this product shipped my expensive package of Foundation Mist to me in a tight fitting bubble envelope instead of a box. So, by the time the product arrived - through the postal service - the box was destroyed and the product was leaking. I will only buy through Amazon in the future.

My favorite hair product EVER
My favorite hair product EVER. I spray it in after the shower as a detangler and base for any other product (usually just the mist is fine but sometime I go for the Super Shine cream for texture as well). It helps protect my heavily bleached hair from heat damage because I blow dry every day. I'm not crazy about the smell but it works really well so I'm not going to switch. I was using Bumble and Bumble's prep or tonic before I found this. I feel like it's the happy medium between the two and works wonders on my thin, straight, fine and bleached hair.

pretty sure this is fake
I've used this product before (from the supplier) and it felt completely different. I think this formula is watered down and basically useless. Even the consistency is thinner.

FAKE! COUNTERFEIT PRODUCT!
I’ve used Oribe many times: it smells AMAZING!!!! That’s a fact. This is dollar store hairspray with a bunch of water (I hope that’s all it is and not actually harmful!?! But who knows!?!) order this very expensive stuff directly from Oribe I guess is my only option. How can this be allowed to happen? I should’ve listened/read the other reviews ;(

Not the same product your receive directly from Oribe
The product not only doesn’t work like the real thing, but it definitely does not smell like the real thing. It doesn’t smell floral, perfume-like, etc. It just stinks. I’ve ordered this product directly from Oribe’s website and this definitely is either not the same thing or it’s from a bad batch.

Fantastic product!
This product is one of my favorites! It's fantastic scent gives my hair a boost when I don't have the time to wash and style - I simply refresh with a few sprays, style and go! My hair smells great, has great body, bounce and shine. Oribe is one of my favorite brands and this is one of the more economically priced products in their line - it's worth every penny!

Love this
I must love this because after a few uses I placed another order for a back up.I don't know what's in this but I can say this Mist is amazing, just a few sprays I was impressed how this left my hair with a nice shine and no frizz which I battle daily no matter what I use and my hair style held up very well through the day with a Brush here .Love it and hope it keeps doing what it's doing. My hair seems to take to this product.

It worked with detangling my hair and enjoy the smell. The smell is really pleasant not to loud and just enough for someone leaning next to you or standing over you can smell. It did not make my hair stiff nor did I have any breaking or frizzying.

This was NOT the real thing!
This was definitely not the foundation most. I don’t know what was in the bottle but it smelled so sour I had to throw it out after trying to use it once. I love this product and have been using it for a decade. Not the real thing- don’t be fooled!

is the best ever. Since my hair has been colored blonde
I have used many spray-in, leave-in conditioners over the years and this, hands down, is the best ever. Since my hair has been colored blonde, it gets extra tangly. No other product has been able to tame my rat's nest like Oribe. I heart you, Oribe.

Good product
I like the way it helps the texture of my fine hair and in FL keeps me less frizzy. Holds the fullness better than most and I can also add anything else to it if I need it. My cousin's son, who is a hairdresser recommended it.

Great but too expensive
Works great, does everything it claims. The smell is not good or bad, that being said, I can buy equally good products that are far cheaper. I gave a five star because it really is great, but I won’t buy again…I can get equally great in drugstore products.

Great product for keeping hair hydrated
This product is great and works well for keeping hair hydrated. I have curly hair and it helps keep my hair from getting frizzy and out of control. I can also use this product to style my hair without using additional styling products. There is definitely a sweet spot for how much product you use. Too much will weigh your hair down and too little can leave it looking frizzy or dehydrated. The spritz on my bottle is pretty concentrated, so to combat it, I spray the product into my hands to apply it to my hair.

I can't live without this to detangle my hair after washing. it seems expensive but you only need a few sprays at a time so it lasts a very long time. I combine this with Oribe Royal Blowout and together it's fantastic. Can't live without them.

It's good enough...
I'm not incredibly impressed with the foundation mist. It may not be the best for my hair type (fine and curly). It's usually makes my hair feel stringy and I'm assuming the best it offers me is better protection when I use heating products, and any of my other products can do that so I'm not really using this at all anymore. I wouldn't know who to recommend this for, but if you have fine curly hair (that frizzes easy and has heat damage) it may be best to find another product to use in the Oribe line like a gentle styling creme.
