Stellar shampoo for blondes.
This stuff is amazing. I was so, so skeptical of spending this much on a shampoo, but with bleached hair, I knew I didn't have a ton of choices for something that would tone my hair and still be gentle enough for frequent use. I'm not one of those people who can go days without washing my hair, and usually end up washing about every other day. This makes my hair feel soft and smooth (which is amazing because the bleach has wrecked it), but more importantly, it keeps my ash blonde hair looking beautiful. No brassiness, no weird tones, all glorious. I used to bounce between Shimmer Lights once a week and another SLS-free shampoo the other days, and now I can just use one bottle. Perfect.

Your blonde hair will thank you
The BEST blonde shampoo I've ever used. I recently went back to an icy, white blonde color. Having been in the wheelhouse, but way too yellow, Sunset Blvd was highly recommended by my stylist. This stuff is incredible. Of all the blonde shampoos I've tried, this one takes the cake. I am a total believer in this product and can't help by recommend it to all the blondes I know. I use it as my daily shampoo without any drying side effects.

Best purple shampoo !! Won’t regret it.
Love this product !! I’ve been a faithful customer for 2 years now. This product keeps me from going Into the Salon and having my hair bleached often . I usually leave my shampoo in for 5 to 10min to remove any brassiness. The shampoo sent is very lovely too. Thanks R+Co for creating an amazing product !

Must buy for blonde hair!
My hairstylist convinced me to buy Sunset Blvd earlier this year....and I just bought my third bottle. It is amazing for blonde hair, I absolutely love it. Also it smells really nice. Its expensive, but totally worth it. It really keeps my hair blonde and toned, without drying it. As a platinum blonde, I would highly recommend this shampoo.

Good as a shampoo, not good a purple shampoo
It works as shampoo itself but not as purple shampoo that is supposed to offset brass. I used for quite a while with no difference, then tried another brand that did it in one wash (Krisin Ess). I still use between washes with the other one because I don't want it to get too ashy, but do not rely on this one for anything but clean hair.

Can't live without it
Just like everyone else said, this stuff is amazing. My hair was starting to turn pretty brassy a month after getting it highlighted for the 5th time in 10 months. In order to completely get rid of the brass I used the Pravana purple shampoo and conditioner two weekends in a row to get quick results and have been using this in between and after. It cleans my hair really well and the conditioner actually makes my hair super soft although I know other people weren't having that result. My hair has zero brass now, I don't think I'll even need the rest of the Pravana products. I'm even wondering if this stuff would have worked just as well if I hadn't used the Pravana at all. I can't wait to take this and show it to the girl who does my hair. FYI here's the link for the Pravana that I bought: PRAVANA THE PERFECT BLONDE Purple Toning Shampoo and Conditioner DUO (10.1Oz each )

Good feel, no brassiness!
Currently working my hair from dark brown and red to grey/silver so my hair has been lightened several times in the past 8 weeks. I've been using this shampoo and conditioner in my routine (and rotating between these and some others). My hair is dryer than pre-lightening but that's to be expected. It doesn't feel "crispy" though which is a definite plus! Also, coming from the browns and reds I expected more brassy tones which I haven't had in my hair. Wish this was a little more hydrating but overall very happy with it.

Requires repeated use but gentle and good quality.
This doesn't cool down the tone of my hair quite as quickly as more vibrant purple shampoos, it requires repeated use. However, it is good quality, gentle on my hair, and smells great. I am happy with it.

Worth trying
Worth trying. Worked well in my hair type. The essence is soft and pleasant, the shampoo does the work on cleaning your hair and the conditioner could be a little better on hydration and softening the hair. But overall was a good experience using and the results were good, not as I expected for the price but good.

Good line altogether
Good shampoo and smells like the R and Co gem for color treated hair. I have played around with this line because it's all my stylist uses. The Atlantis moisture is great for blonde hair color treated hair, the gem is good but a little bit heavier and creamier. I like to rotate depending on the season or what my hair needs. The Hollywood maybe twice a week for me but you aren't going to be having extreme purple like other brands but it does the job. Also R and Co is very concentrated so you don't need a lot. Also I would recommend their dry shampoo tremendously. It is in a can and saves time and not having to wash your hair all the time. It smells great and fresh

Gentle enough to use daily
I've been using this shampoo, as well as the Sunset Blvd Conditioner, ever since I went platinum last October. I love it! Keeps my hair bright, with no brass, and I have no issues with dryness. I have super fine, super curly hair, so washing and conditioning every day is a must for me. The purple tone is creamy and gentle enough for daily use.

works as advertised
I've never used a purple shampoo before, so wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm very happy that it leaves my hair feeling clean, full and bouncy. Not quite as bouncy as the thickening shampoo does, but still pretty darn great. I'm a fan.

Smells Good
I bought this after my hair stylist used it on my hair at the salon. It smells great and is keep my blonde color blonde! I am a naturally darker blonde but in the summer my hair turns almost bleached... I use this shampoo during the winter months to keep my hair from turning too dark!

Does the job
While this purple shampoo hasn’t blown me away, I really do like it and think it does a good job at brightening blonde hair. I have highlights and wanted to keep them fresh and bright. This shampoo does the job and helps remove brassiness. I like that it can be used frequently but I think it can be slightly drying to the hair if done so. I try to use it every now and then. Overall I like it.

Great results no purple
I love this Sunset BLVD shampoo. I recently let my hair Covent to the white taking over my head. This shampoo let's my white hair shine and sparkle. Other shampoos for white hair turned my hair purple or blue. I can use R+Co every day with great no problem. Jane

Works great, smells really nice - buying again
Hi, I read some reviews that the smell was very strong, which did concern me, since I get headaches easily from floral items, or the candle store, bath and body stores. BUT, this was not like that. Very light floral scent, almost reminded me of a jasmine flower. Love the way it works for my platinum hair, keeps it feeling nice and looking healthy. I also purchased the conditioner, which helps it to not be such a tangled mess.

Reduced brassiness after one use
Worked to reduce the brassy red tones in one use. Amazing product. I am going from red brown to platinum blonde and am about halfway through the incremental process. I went out on a limb for this and feel it was very much worth the expense. Scent is not overpowering but be sure to use a good conditioner as it's drying to hair.

Great care for graying hair
I have dark hair I have been letting get gray, so far some large streaks around my face. This R+Co shampoo is a good way of keeping the grays from getting brassy. Plus as a shampoo it leaves your hair thick, full and with lots of body. If you are letting your hair go gray it's important to take good care of it and this shampoo definitely helps.

Hairdresser noticed a difference..
You know its working when your hairdresser you have been seeing for years notices a difference in your color/texture after not making an appointment in 4 months.. It really helps the hair from brassiness and dry texture. I try to only wash my hair twice a week, and I use this every time, focusing on my ends which is where most of my color is (balyage).

Lights Me Up!
Love this product and have been using it for years! I have very curly white hair (well, at 82 what other color would it be?), and this product is perfect for highlighting and toning down whatever yellowing I might "think" I see, and using the conditioner made for this particular shampoo, my hair remains bright, soft, and curly. Every now and then, I'll try something different, but I end up right back to R&Co's Sunset Blvd. This shampoo has never failed me, yet!

Marketing Hype. Not really that spectacular
So,.. this is nice packaging. It has a nice lather. It’s not anywhere near as amazing as it is promoted to be. It doesn’t tone really well. The purple is really not there. It washes ok. But it’s not truly a premium blonde maintenance product - the hair is not overly soft, shiny or smooth. Over all I am not impressed.

Worth the money
If you spend a lot of money coloring your hair, this shampoo is 100% worth it. It keeps my hair cool between colorings. I tried to use a cheaper purple shampoo and my hair got brassy within a week. Switched back to this and after a couple of weeks, it’s cool again, without a salon appointment.

This is a good toning shampoo if you have *mild* brassy tones but definitely won’t negate the orange if you have a lot. However, it does a nice job and doesn’t leave a purple tinge in your hair like a lot of blonde shampoos
