Many Things Wrong
I will update this review if I receive a replacement product and it meets the product standards. The tin that I received is either a factory defective product or this is a counterfeit item. As you can see from the images the tin is not even close to full, you can see the bottom of the tin. The tin, lid and product it contained does not even weigh close to what just the product is supposed to weigh. There is supposed to be at least 28.5g of product excluding the tin. Not 35g like the listing says. The tin and contents only weigh 21g. Second issue. The product that is in the container is hard. This product is supposed to be a cream. No wetting of the product is needed. The contained product is hard, previously bubbly, and doesn't smell right. A replacement item is scheduled to be sent soon. The original order took a long time to process and ship via amazon shipping. Reuzel is a good company and all other products I have ordered in the past were excellent.

Ripoff
I love the product, but this packaging was inexcusable. The container was only 1/4 full. It's supposed to contain 1 ounce of shave cream, but the whole thing, WITH the can, only weighed 3/4 ounce. I returned it, and got a replacement. That one was half full, and only weighed 1 1/8 ounce with the can. I'm done. Buyer beware.

Reuzel shave cream
I’ve used Reuzel shave cream for several years and it’s one of the best shave creams I’ve ever used. I’ve been around the block a few time, okay, a lot of times, so I know quite a bit about quality shave soaps and creams. This rates right up near the top in slickness and overall quality. I’m over 70 so I’ve cut a few whiskers and I’m well versed in wet shaving. And, yes I also initially tried to use a brush with this cream. But, live and learn and just use a dab on your finger tips and rub it on your face, no brush needed. It’s just a really slick cream that provides an excellent close shave and it has a nice aroma and a great after shave conditioning feel on face. I also have sensitive skin and this one really works for me.

Slickest and closest shave I’ve ever had!
This cream is not to be lathered in a bowl. My cousin is a barber and he straight razor shaved clients daily. He knows what works and what doesn’t. This stuff is by far the slickest shaving cream I’ve ever used! I tried lathering this in my shaving bowl and it doesn’t lather at all. I consulted my cousin on this and he said you don’t need to lather it just massage into the face and beard and wet your face with hot water before. So I did. It only takes a quarter size amount and I got the closest and smoothest shave I’ve ever gotten! This stuff is top notch! The scent is old school barber shop scent that is truly an original scent. This product is imported from Holland and it say Holland’s finest. They aren’t kidding! It’s well worth the price and I highly recommend it!

Shave Crème
Well the first tin I received from my Stylist had a product which was very hard. I had to scrape it out with my fingers. Then lather it in wet hands. It was super slick and I liked that. I told my stylist I’d like more because it was so slick. She gave me two tins that she had on hand and I told her to open it up. This tin was creamy with a little grit in it. So I said well that’s weird but okay. The cream was in a small tin and was used up quickly. I opened the next tin and it again was very hard like the first. I still have a bit left but I’m not entirely sure that I want to buy any more because I simply don’t know what to expect. It seems there are some quality control issues with this product.

Value not worth it. Can is a little more than half filled. I’ve used this product for a long time. Ive always bought from my barber. Went to Amazon for ease of purchase and this is what I get. Purchase from online store instead

This is great stuff!!
If you like a change from the daily can of Barbasol or Gillette shave cream, look no further. This little can holds a lot of shaves as the cream is fairly concentrated, and it doesn't take much to get a good coverage. It doesn't lather like from a can, but is more like a thick cream soap. The shave is awesome, and the ingredients contain a natural mild numbing agent in case you do get a nick or cut. Best of all, it leaves your skin smooth and smelling great! I was a bit skeptical at first when I ordered it, but my first shave changed all that! Great for a travel kit.

I think this product is pricey for the size and amount. However, it does a nice job as a shaving cream. It is more like the consistency of butter. Wet the face, rub it on, shave. It smells nice; you get a good shave. Pay money; get the product. Use it. Painful to put out that kind of money for small size.

All you need
I have used other cream with a brush that lather up nice but I use this and apply with my fingers and I love the smell. I walked in a Barber shop and asked what he recommended and he gave me this one so I tried it and fell in love with the product. I immediately went on Amazon to see if they had it and they did so ordered two more. My wife was pretty amazed that I git so excited over shaving cream but I look forward to shaving now and the smell. Start the day right. Great product, terrible shipping.
I baught this for my boyfriend, I dont shave (very thick beard) and its his favorite. It makes for a very smooth comfortable shave. And the smell is amazing. The shave cream comes in aluminum cans and when it arrived both were VERY dented and beat up. But it didn't affect the product inside at all so I didn't mind but the company should find a better way to ship!

First of all, shame on me for not reading that this is a cream, not a soap. I scooped some into my bowl and tried hard to get a lather that wasn’t coming. Second, the cream barely covers the bottom of the tin; I would recommend the manufacturer rethink packaging because this feels wasteful.

Mild but manly, perfect compliment to the Reuzel aftershave and a damn fine shave.
A little goes a long way, and the experience has you looking forward to shaving. I know that sounds crazy, but my barber suggested this stuff for its practical qualities and I found the scent to be a huge bonus. Mild but manly, it doesn’t run over your aftershave but somehow manages to compliment it. I use this with Reuzel aftershave and have zero blemishes, zero razor burn, and good skin winter or summer. Amazing in every way. No brush needed. Didn't even use my pre shave. Just splash hot water on face and only need a little to rub all around. Not really a shave cream in the usually sense.
But it is amazing. Before you shave, wash your face, soap and hot water, rinse, put a little dab on 2 fingers and rub into the skin anywhere you have shaving problems, neck and throat especially. Do NOT use a brush, it takes very little to go a long ways. Lather up using your soap of choice. This cream does not lather at all, but it's like a Teflon coating for sensitive areas.
