Incredible water based pomade
I finally got around to trying this. After TONS of research a few years ago, it was between this and Imperial Barber Classic High Hold Pomade for a high hold, low weight, water based pomade. This is almost identical to that product, which I really like as well. But both have just a few small things holding them back from being absolutely perfect products, but both are for sure THE BEST if you're looking for a pomade that is super light weight, is high hold, and washes out super easy with water. The only difference between this and Imperial is the hold level, crunchy level, and smell. Which are minimal between the two. Either one is incredible and you can't go wrong! Suavecito is: - High hold 9/10 - Has the slightest bit of hard/crunch like gel, but virtually none 1/10 - Has a very nice low sheen look. It's not dry and matte like some high products, and it's not glossy looking either. I'd say if matte is 1 on a scale of 1-5 and high gloss is 5, this is a 2 out of 5. It's perfect. It basically looks like you just washed and conditioned your hair. A very nice natural sheen, and nothing fake looking. And if you use more than normal, you can get that slicked down look for greaser hairstyles or a nice combed formal look - Extremely easy to get out of container and work through your hair. It does have a sort of "short" work time though, just like Imperial High Hold Pomade. Once you get it out, you just rub it around all over your hands to spread it out really well, then work into hair. You don't need to rub it for 20-40 seconds and get it "warm" like some other fibers or clays. Very easy to work into hair, and within mins your hairstyle is held in place how you styled it. Almost like a gel or hairspray, but MUCH more natural looking - Holds most of the day as long as you don't mess around with your hair all day - Strong smell that can compete with your cologne/fragrance for the first few hours (it smells incredible though, very manly) - Very light weight and washes out super fast with just a tiny bit of water. This is a HUGE feature that makes this better than almost all other products - Moderate ability to get some nice texture/separation in your hair, not as good as a really good texturizing clay, but much better than most other hair products Imperial is: - High Hold 9.5/10 - Is slightly hard/crunchy like gel, but not too much 2/10 - Has a nice low/medium sheen look. It's not dry and matte like some high products, and it's not glossy looking either. I'd say if matte is 1 on a scale of 1-5 and high gloss is 5, this is a 2.5 out of 5. Ever so silghtly more than Suavecito. So if you prefer a slightly more formal or finished look, this is a bit better for that look then Sauvecito. But really both are so close, it's splitting hairs. This has ever so slightly more sheen than Sauvecito Firm Hold. And if you use more than normal, you can get that slicked down look for greaser hairstyles or a nice combed formal look - Extremely easy to get out of container and work through your hair. It does have a sort of "short" work time though, just like Suavecito High Hold Pomade. Once you get it out, you just rub it around all over your hands to spread it out really well, then work into hair. All other products either don't work this well or cost way too much or both! Sauvecito is a great product and I would highly recommend this!

Makes you dance to Despacito
DISCLAIMER: I do not claim to be a model in any way, shape, or form, and I’m just putting in pics with the product in my hair for comparison and examples (forgive the faces I’m making lol). In the first 2 pics my hair is dyed, and the process thinned my hair out. In the natural one my hair is much thicker, so you can see the way it holds despite differing hair types. These pics are solely for the purpose of seeing the product lol Ok - so I have been using this product for a little over two years. I use it sparingly and more like my “special going out” styling product rather than an every day (I know, I know, but hear me out!). The scent is AMAZING!!! I always get remarks on how good I smell and people ask me what cologne I’m wearing. When I tell them it’s my hair, they always take a whiff and they’re amazed. Not only do they love the scent, but I do too! I can smell it all day long, and it’s so refreshing and clean! It’s an amber type of smell. If you could imagine amber mixed with clean, natural soap, it’s this product. Shine: This is the number one complaint I see on here, and honestly, it was my concern as well given my thick, oily hair. This product is so easy to work with and works in easily. It does leave behind a shine, but that’s what blow dryers are for! I work the product in when my hair is almost completely dry, and then take a wide-toothed comb and follow the stroke with the blow dryer, and I end up with a more matte finish. I think the drying process also enhances the scent. Don’t let the sheen deter you from a purchase. It’s not super shiny like other pomades and you can combat the sheen with some warm-hot air. Plus, this is when I start singing Despacito in my head every time because that’s what the name makes me think of haha. I can’t tell you enough how much I love this product. All I can say is that if you’re willing to splurge, give it a shot. You don’t need a lot. 1-2 fingertips full, give it a good work-through in your hands first (like you’re trying to warm it with friction, and then work it through in the way you want to style it. To rework after a long day, a little spritz of water and run your fingers or a comb through and you’re all set to go. This is a WATER based pomade, so it comes out VERY easily in the shower with any shampoo (I’ve used everything from V-O5 to fancy hair shop brands and nothing presents a problem here). Click that “buy it now” button. You won’t regret it!

This Stuff Is Godly
I have thick, straight hair that is stubborn and refuses to work with any product. I have been doing my very best to style my hair differently for years since being a teen but to no avail. I have tried Suavecito's other product (non-firme hold), and though I like it, it's just not strong enough for me. This stuff does the trick. The smell is really masculine and fragrant (my wife LOVES it). It has a strong hold but is also water soluble so it's easy to wash out (which is incredible, by the way), and is relatively cheap in comparison to other brand name salon products out there. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Let me caveat how much I love this product with some advice to my fellow men out there struggling to get the style they want. In order to get your hair to do what you want and to be more flexible, you need to take appropriate care of your hair and spend the time. Here are some small tweaks I've made that have made the world of difference; 1) Invest in a round brush or a comb - I can't stress how important this is. For years I styled my hair with just my hands, but no more. A comb is critical is getting your hair to move the direction you want. Even if you comb through you hair and subsequently run your fingers through just to get the texture/wave you're looking for, you should still use a comb. The product description of this pomade even suggests combing the product through your hair. Don't skip this step (I actually prefer a good round brush, as I can get the volume and shape I want easier than a comb. I recommend the one from Uppercut). 2) Invest in a good hair dryer and learn how to use it - Again, can't stress this enough. If you're too uncomfortable with your sexuality to use a hair dryer, then have fun with your boring hair the rest of your life. A hair dryer is life changing. The sooner you let go of your pride, the quicker you will be on your way to incredible hair. There is no substitute for getting your hair to move the direction and have the volume you want. The trick with the hair dryer, I've found, is to blow dry on high with the narrow nozzle (makes a huge difference) attached until my hair is styled in the general way I like. THEN, and only then, do I put pomade in my hair. This is huge. Blow drying your hair allows you to use less product, since the product really only serves as a holding mechanism rather than a styling mechanism. Yes, there is some texture and wave you can get only from using the product, but the general direction and style of your hair can be achieved by using only a comb and a hair dryer. Less product is more when it comes to having great hair. 3) Use Argan Oil - Yes, another girly product. This stuff works wonders. If you have poofy crazy hair like I do, this stuff is magical. Put two squirts of pure argan oil into the palm of your hand and apply to damp, towel dried hair. Immediately blow dry your hair after applying the oil. You'll find that your hair is smooth and the frizz is gone. This also allows you to use less pomade to achieve your desired result, which is a bonus. It's also healthy for your hair. 4) Don't shampoo every day. This really should be a no-brainer, but shampoos are harsh on the scalp and hair. Shampoo only 2-3 times per week, but use conditioner daily. 5) Don't give up - This is big. If you are losing hope like I was with your stubborn, thick straight hair, be patient. Keep training it daily and let it grow longer than you think it needs to be or more than you are accustomed to. Longer hair is easier to deal with, and is less stubborn in general. Training your hair takes time, but it's possible. Each day goes by, and you won't notice a difference, but looking back over the months I can see huge improvements and I'm finally at a point where I love my hair. Don't give up, and be patient.

Suavecito Pomade Firm Hold Whiskey Bar Scent – Easy Washout, All-Day Style Control
I recently tried the Suavecito Pomade Firme (Strong) Hold Whiskey Bar Scent, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Here’s why this pomade has become my go-to for daily styling: Hold and Flexibility: The hold is impressive. As someone with thick, unruly hair, finding a product that can keep my style intact throughout the day is challenging. Suavecito’s stronghold does the job perfectly without making my hair feel stiff or crunchy. It’s easy to mold and reshape throughout the day, maintaining a natural look. Scent: The Whiskey Bar scent is subtle yet sophisticated. It adds a touch of class without being overpowering. I've received numerous compliments on the pleasant aroma, which pairs well with my cologne and overall style. Application and Shine: Applying the pomade is a breeze. It has a smooth, wax-like consistency that spreads evenly through my hair. The medium shine gives my hair a healthy, polished look without making it greasy. It strikes the perfect balance between matte and glossy, enhancing my style without making it look artificial. Water-Based and Flake-Free: One of the standout features is its water-based formula. It’s incredibly easy to wash out at the end of the day, leaving no residue or buildup. Additionally, it’s truly flake-free, so I don’t have to worry about unsightly white flakes ruining my look. Versatility: This pomade works well with various hairstyles, from classic slick-backs to more modern, textured looks. Whether I’m going for a formal, polished style or a casual, tousled look, Suavecito delivers consistently. Overall, the Suavecito Pomade Firme Hold Whiskey Bar Scent has proven to be an excellent investment. Its strong hold, appealing scent, ease of use, and versatility make it a must-have in my grooming routine. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality pomade that delivers on its promises.

One of my favorites
I have been a loyal Suavecito firm hold user ever since I started getting haircuts that necessitated me having to style my hair (read: ever since I stopped outright shaving my head). I have come to the determination that while this is not the world's best pomade (and there are debates as to whether or not this is a true pomade), it works the best for my hair and hairstyle. I prefer it over oil based pomades I used and that is 100% based on control alone. I'll elaborate further. Suavecito is thick, strong, and with the appropriate amount of pomade in your hair, it will hold your hair to the desired style you are looking for. I like to apply it to towel dried hair with little wetness left in it, as I find that this is the best way to control my type of hair (thick and slightly wavy). I also use it to top off my beard's styling every day because that's how strong of a hold it is. With that said, unlike oil based pomades, Suavecito is STIFF. Suavecito is super stiff. Do not use this product if you want to like do a hardcore re-style throughout the day, or if you are looking to be able to say run your fingers between your hair or comb it again. I've tried and it just doesn't work like that. It'll style but it just won't look like it did when you dialed down the hairstyle to start your day. If you're looking to do that, get a heavy hold oil based like say Lockhart's Goon Grease. With that said, Suavecito is perhaps the best water based pomade I've used in my short experience at using them but its the price and the quality that keep me coming back. After my first 4oz container, I immediately went and got the 32oz container because I knew I would be continually using it. I recently had to get my 2nd 32oz container and that was nearly 2 years after the initial purchase. Its built to last and you do not need a ton of it to get your hair the way you want it to hold. From now on I have decided to always have Suavecito Firme and use it alongside a good oil based Pomade just for some variety. On days where its rainy or perhaps a little more humid I feel as though the Suavecito can hold my hair a little bit better and I like to have that reassurance. High recommendations but be forewarned there are some minor drawbacks. The positives outweigh the negatives though so buy away!

★★★★★ Strong Hold Without the Crunch
This pomade is fantastic! It provides a strong hold that lasts all day while still allowing my hair to look natural and well-groomed. It applies smoothly, washes out easily with water, and has a pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering. The two-pack is an excellent value, and the quality is consistently great. I would definitely purchase it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable styling product.

Just buy it. Best hair product i have ever tried
I’m so picky with my hair, i have very very thick hair and have tried a lot of products and nothing comes close to how good this is. Perfect firm hold, shine, and my hair holds throughout the day. I’ve put all my friends on this and they love it too. And to top it off, it smells great. My barber recommended this. What a recommendation. Customer for life.

Strong Hold? Not So Much Lately
My husband has used Suavecito Pomade Firme Hold for a long time and always liked it, but lately it feels like the formula has changed. After a few recent purchases, he noticed it just doesn’t hold the way it used to. He rides with a helmet, and the moment he takes it off and tries to fix his hair, the style falls apart. It used to bounce back easily, but not anymore. Because of that, he actually asked to try something new, which he’s never done before with this product. It’s still a decent pomade, but the consistency and performance don’t seem as strong as they used to be.

Good
This product truly works. I initially thought it would be similar to other hair products I’ve used, which often don’t deliver the same results. It is lightweight and non-greasy, making it gentle on my hair. It offers a soft, glue-like hold without weighing the hair down, and it adds a subtle shine. Although I don’t usually prefer this type of product, I have to admit it performs very well when used as directed. Easy

The product is great. I’ve used it in the past. Amazon still hasn’t delivered this order which I find it funny they want me to review the product before receiving it. Amazon shipping is the absolute worst. I got the alert that this product was 10 stop from my house on Sunday, I could see the driver 5 minutes and 2 stops away in the app. Then the driver just decides to quit. Now I’m sitting here Monday night over 24 hours from the original delivery time still with no product. Product probably won’t be delivered at all.
