I have course, thick, heavy hair that frizzes on a humid day. I used the REF shampoo and conditioner, and it is unbelievable how wonderful my hair looks. We had a very humid week a month or so ago, I was SHOCKED that my hair did not frizz at all. Also, I wake up every morning and my hair looks so good, I don't even have to comb it. My niece tried my shampoo and conditioner and noticed how shiny her hair looked. I know this sounds too good to be true, but it is real. If you have thin hair, I would say to use this sparingly.

Great for my fine, thin hair

Excellent product. My hair is soft, shiny and in great condition. I was shown this product by my hairstylist. She used it one time on me. I liked the results on my hair. I was in sticker shock when she quoted me the price. I didn't question it since I have gone to her for a long time. I assumed she would not gouge the price. I bought both shampoo and conditioner and wanted to see if when the bottles were empty, I was still impressed. I WAS! On a whim, I searched for and found this on Amazon. It was $10 less expensive (per product) than my hair salon. Guess where I am getting this product from now on.

Seller sold expired product
I didn’t realize until I spoke with my hairdresser. But this conditioner expires after 12 months. It’s vegan. Bought expired product. Not cool. Luckily it was still okay. But it shouldn’t be sold to people like that. Not Refs fault, it’s the seller. Bought in March 2026

I like this conditioner; the 3 stars is because it was not well packed. The lid was opened and there was conditioner outside the bottle and inside the shipping bag. They must secure this type of items with tape before shipping it.

Not Impressed!
I use to use this brand but Blue that smelled awesome and seemed to work well. This one smells like chemical and doesn't feel like it gets my hair clean. Skip this one!

Bad Batches
I've used this before and it was fine but the last TWO conditioners I bought were bad/expired! The smell was what I could only describe as the carpet cleaner they use in the smoking section of a las vegas casino. Made me sick! I couldn't stand to just sit there and smell how pungent it was and had to rewash my hair with anything I could find just to try and get the smell off my scalp so I could stop gagging Wouldn't buy from this seller again!
