Takes away yellow
Yes, this does in fact take away yellow for sure. I bought to use with the shampoo. I found out about this product on a blog which said Fudges is one of the very best purple shampoo products on the market. So, I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. Fudges delivered and fixed a horrible coloring job. I continued to use the product frequently because I also like the slight purple tint it gives the platinum blonde, but this is only because of frequent and prolonged use. If you have blonde hair and are looking to not be yellow, once a week or two weeks should be enough to keep the color nice.

Great conditioner
Awesome product. I love this conditioner. I have been using the Fudge Clean Blonde products for a few months. I tried this conditioner for the first time. Even better than the Fudge conditioner I was using. This helps my hair with breaking and makes it feel and look great!

By far the best purple shampoo out there- conditions hair nicely but also leave a grey/violet tent which is very eye catching I do recommend this to all blondes out there rather natural or not

Helps tone not hydrate
Not desirable if you have processed/damaged fine hair does nothing to rehyrdate. I use over quality conditioner as a toning agent not a primary conditioner.

Too expensive for no results
I figured bec a famous person recommended this, it would work .. did not. L'Oreal purple works a lot better and is cheaper. Don't know how they justify this price

Great for gray hair.
I've used this and the shampoo for several years now. Not every time I wash my hair, but maybe once a month. If your hair is too purple, cut back. If it's too dull, use more, or maybe leave the shampoo on longer. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair.

The only purple shampoo/conditioner line I use!
I love the Fudge purple shampoo/conditioner line. I have tried at least 15 other purple shampoos and none best the quality of this brand. I like to leave it in longer than instructed as I prefer/love the silver color this leaves. Offers great hydration too. Usually lasts me at least 6-8 months, so the value for the money you spend is worth it for sure.

Best purple shampoo there is
I’ve been using this for years and it’s the best you can find. It can be slightly drying so make sure to do a good mask after using it. Sometimes I mix it with a conditioner, put a cap on my head and sleep with it on. The end result is perfectly toned and moisturized hair. This will always be my go to.

Great for clearing the yellow!
This is a great product to use to Reno that tinge of yellow you may get after having hair lightened! I have a ton of gray and trying to keep it from getting brassy, seems like a full time gig. This is a great conditioner to clear that!

They changed the formula.
They changed it doesn’t work anymore. Don’t waste your money. Also, the number on the back of the bottle takes to to an ad for medical devices. The web address leads nowhere. 0 out of 10 do not recommend

Doesn't do what it's supposed to do
This does not have enough color in it to tone the hair. It's a very very light lavender that leaves no toning on light blond hair even. I missed the return date so this was a complete waste of money.
