This Actually Works And it Brought Back my Waves/Curls
Before I get into my results, I'd like to say that I have INCREDIBLY damaged hair. The ends of my hair have been bleached well over six times, had color remover 3 times, and been dyed with black box dye over three time and other dyes even more. None of this was done professionally or with high quality products, and so my hair is quite literally fried. Naturally I have very wavy hair along with loose curls, with all the damage, my hair texture has changed drastically. This product brought it back. I ordered the sample size for $12, and used it five times as directed instead of conditioner. The first picture I uploaded is my after and the second is my before. The pictures reallly don't do it justice, I had severe split ends, my hair was crispy and would be stuck in place if u tried to move it. All of that went away. I still have split ends that need to be cut, but they are wayyyyy better and softer and stronger than they were before. After finishing the five treatments, I decided to jusst shampoo and condition, no products, no special methods, no scrunching, and just let it air dry. To my total surprise, my hair dried with almost no friz, waves, and even ringlet curls. I haven't had my hair be this texture in YEARS. I can pull on my hair now and not have chunks break off. My hair's natural texture has been rejuvenated. It drastically increased the strength of my hair. All for $12.99. If you have curl/wave patterns that have been damaged by bleach and dye, or just damage in general, I would definitely recommend trying this out. The sample is cheap and definitely worth the possibility that it could work as well for you as it did for me.

Immediate results in 4 minutes on a molecular level
I had read reviews on K18. I was impressed, but wanted to try the sample size to see for myself. The reviews are accurate. It works. I was slightly skeptical about using such a small amount of product following a wash with a detox (clarifying) shampoo. My hair is normally a horrible rats nest without conditioner. I applied the product, and ends to roots, thoroughly working it into the strands and waited the full 4 minutes. Then I used my wet hair brush...wow! no problems--great slip--. After 4 minutes, the directions state you can apply your normal styling products which I did. Styled hair as usual...but the difference was palpable. My hair was actually much healthier. The difference with one treatment convinced me to purchase a full size and continue using for the next 4 washes and then on occasion. Definitely worth the price. I chemically treat my hair with permanent hair dye. I also use a hair dryer. Although using good conditioners helps, K18 actually repairs the hair.

Astounding repair on my daughters fried hair.
My 10 year olds hair was ruined, when we used Function of Beauty shampoo/conditioner. It damaged her hair, causing it to falls out, leaving huge bald spots within 2 weeks of using it on her just twice. So we had 8 months of not wearing it up in any way. Because the slight tugging of elastics, clips and barrettes would just cause it to break off more. Those same months of I was doing daily careful combing out of her hair, because it would tangle into one large “back of the head nest within 5-6 hours. This was a Hail Mary for us. She is going to camp this summer and I had no idea how she would be able care for it herself. I did not have much hope when I bought it. But I figured it would not hurt since I was about to take her to the hairdresser and have it cut very short. It was astonishing. Finally!
My hair is thick, coarse and very, very frizzy. I use a blow dryer and then flat iron. With constant heat and coloring I have breakage and fly aways. This product smoothes my hair better than any other product I've tried. Follow the instructions carefully and don't let your hair get too dry before putting it on. I works better the more youI use it. The jury is out on how much it affects my color but Ill color more often if I have to. I just love this stuff so much!!!

This really works.
I stopped coloring my hair and had very dry ends. One small dab and the ends were conditioned. Nothing else I had been using fixed the problem. I have very fine thin hair and this did it for me. You should start with a very small amount; not like a conditioner amount you can use less. The small tube for the price is pushing it but the product does work.

I can not say enough good things about k18. I bleach my hair every few months. I also live in a dry climate. This stuff has helped my hair so very much. I do see a lot of people using it wrong and it maybe why they claim it does not work. Do not use condition. Wait till your hair is damp not soaking wet. An you must emulsify it in your hands before using. It should be almost white on your hands before you put it in. Also be sure that it is evenly spread. Once it's on its on. And make sure you wait 4 minutes before brushing or using any other products.

I'm sorry. I don't get it.
Mind you I have only used this product twice. I got the mini bottle in order to give it a shot and see what I thought after two uses. I am not impressed. To begin, my hair does not behave well without conditioner. So this idea of shampooing and then putting in the K18 is a challenging one. My Caucasian hair is like velcro; it tends to clump together, and this idea of gently gliding this stuff on damp hair is a joke. In any case, I do as directed. I wait for 4 minutes. I spritz on my Aveda leave-in. And it's still a real challenge to brush my hair. Once it's dried and styled, it's okay. It's basically looks and behaves after my normal routine. But by day two post-treatment (without washing again), my ends look/feel really dry, crunchy, and just not good. I almost wonder if this is doing more harm than good to my hair? I kind of want to see it all the way through and try it for four washes, but I also don't want to drop 15 bucks, or whatever it is, to be disappointed again.

Great For Chemical Damage
I had bleached highlights and professional color for years, but had my hairdresser remove all of the color so I can grow grey. The color remover is not as damaging as bleach, but left my hair pretty fried and extremely dry, with no natural wave...straw! I saw a huge difference on the first use and have used this same little tube for the 3rd time with even better results each time. I have a lot of hair, medium long layers, and still have product left in the tube. Less is more with this product...use as directed. Totally recommend for chemical damage.

Worst hair product I’ve ever used
I can’t even put into words how awful this made my hair. It looks so dirty and feels so gummy and almost matted. I feel like it actually made my hair more damaged - it was like I could feel it tangling and breaking when I tried to dry it after. It looks disgusting. I’m thankful I purchased the smallest version. And incredibly upset I won’t be able to rewash my hair before going into work. It’s that gross. And since I know people tend to want to blame the user, I also followed the directions exactly, used a clarifying detox shampoo, and this was the only new product. So I know it was this product alone to cause this difference in my hair.

Avoid this product!
Incredibly damaging to my hair using it twice. Stripped off color, moisture, and the keratin treatment. Their customer service is non existent. Tried to call them multiple times. This is not meant for fine or thin hair it will make your hair much worse. AVOID.

Shining, manageable hair at 73 - works for me!
I have fine, thinning stubbornly straight hair that I color at home every 6-8 weeks using eSalon products. I noticed my hair was looking a little dull and the hair masques I had on hand didn't provide lasting results. I heard about K18 from Jack Martin, the hair coloring genius who does those gorgeous 8-hr gray hair transitions (Instagram). I bought the sample size (5 ml) and got 2 applications out of it, using a little more than a nickel-size dollop the first application and the remainder the 2nd application. The first application yielded noticeably improved hair shine and manageability and did not weigh my hair down. I saved the 2nd application to use a week later when we were scheduled for a family photo session. I had my chin-length bob trimmed 2 days before the session and the hairdresser told me I should stop using my Hot Tools Professional one step dryer volumizer (which I love and only use on medium heat) and go back to 2-handed blow drying with a round brush (which I find awkward and tiring) in order to get the lift and bend I wanted in my hair. He was wrong. I applied the last of the K18 through my turbie towel blotted hair and waited 4-5 minutes before spraying a little root lift around the top and crown areas and working a blend of 2 styling products through to the ends (the hairdresser was right about those). I used a regular blow dryer with a concentrator attachment to get the roots dry as I lifted and over-directed sections of hair, then sectioned my slightly damp hair and switched to my Hot Tools volumizer. My hair was way more manageable and very shiny. I had no trouble getting the desired bend with one or 2 pulls through, holding the wrap for a few seconds and then allowing a little cooling time. I was able to arrange the front and top of my hair into the casual look I wanted with my hands and sprayed some quick-drying hair spray lightly under the side sections and around the top and crown. I couldn't believe how good it looked. During the late afternoon shoot by the lake, the wind picked up and blew my hair around a bit. I actually loved the feel of it. Afterwards, I still had style and shine. I'm now investing in the large (50 ml) size.

a little goes a long way, you can't put conditioner in your hair before this - just shampoo then towel dry then apply this. Wait 4 minutes before applying anything else. I have done detangler/leave in conditioning spray on top, as well as other leave in conditioning creams/serums/oils and then blow dry and works great! This definitely makes my hair healthier

Hair feels healthier!
I like this product, my hair feels healthier. I have fine, naturally curly chin length hair that’s starting to thin. The under layers of my hair is very curly and frizzy and the product calms it down, if I straighten it after I blow dry it is looks amazing. I wash my hair approximately every other day and the second day looks nice. I’d love a Brazilian Blowout but I don’t want to spend the $ and from what I read that fermentation can make hair fall out so this might be a good alternative.

After the first use: My hair is mid back length, but recently I was diagnosed with Diabetes type 2, and I've noticed incredible hair loss and my fingernails stopped growing completely. So I got Biotin shampoo and supplements that seem to be helping......but when I washed my hair with the clarifiying shamppoo, rinsed super well, dried well with towel and applied to dime shaped globs to my hair and worked through. I left in on for 10 minutes before blow drying my hair....well, for all the raving about this product, I really expected some good results....BUT my hair is very frizzy on the ends, has a slight wave which I don't want., has no ability for me to encourage height which I need, just nice somewhat softer hair.....but tons of it in sink and on brush....I'm afraid to use it again, as I really don't see the point. I SO WANTED TO LOVE THIS TOO!

Made my hair dry and had even more breakage
I'm so glad I only ordered the trial size. I was so excited to try this as I've been having breakage due to coloring. I use Olaplex and Curl Smith's Bond Building Salve. They help a great deal but it's just not convenient to apply them and wait a while to rinse. I used K18 this morning and I had trouble getting a comb through my hair even with leave in conditioner added. I waited the 4 minutes to continue with my routine. I had so much breakage! I let it air dry and I really don't like the feel of it. My hair feels very dry and coarse. I'm not sure I will use it again and will stick to Olaplex and Curl Smith.

Overall, great product despite the high cost.
This product is very concentrated, so it does not take much to work into hair. I have long hair nearly down to my belly button. It was so easy to use and made my hair feel much softer and less frizzy for a couple of day. Needing to apply this a couple times a week could be very costly depending on your length but if you invest $$ into your hair, it is a great staple to put in your routine.

Granted, I have short hair and it's not that damaged, just rather dried out. But this leave-in conditioner, while adequate, doesn't work any better than my rinse-out Redken in a big bottle that cost a lot less per ounce than this overhyped stuff. Don't bother. I mean, it's a decent conditioner, but not at all worth the price.

Half Empty Tube
This tiny tube was half air... I have shoulder length hair and there was not quite enough to coat all of my hair. I had to really brush it through to spread the product, tje result was good, soft and defined curls, but should have been half price as there was barely a sample sized amount.

Wonder Product
This product came recommended to me from a hairdresser friend. I am blown away by its effectiveness. I opted to get the small trial size because it is a bit pricey, but this small package allowed me to use the product five or six times which was enough to get a good idea of how it works. (I have long hair that goes down to my waist.) The product is super simple to use. I take a dime sized amount and scrunch it through shampooed, but not conditioned, hair. I let it sit for around five minutes before blowdrying and styling. I dye my hair black and bleach a small portion of it. This product makes my hair feel like virgin hair. My hair is left silky, smooth and strong feeling. It reduces frizzyness and flyaways. Seriously, if you want shiny, movie star hair (especially if you chemically or heat treat your hair) I can't recommend this product enough.
