Argan Oil for Hair
This argan oil also contains a good blend of other hydrating African hair oils without using mineral oil as a filler. It contains fragrance that is mild if you only use 1-3 drops on damp or dry hair as directed, but I tend to use more than that when my hair is damp which makes the scent stronger. I don’t really notice the scent of the citrus lemon fruit oil, but I can smell a cinnamon and vanilla scent. I would prefer no added fragrance, but I do like the results from this hair product. My hair is noticeably softer and less frizzy after using this oil and it doesn’t look greasy or stringy. This 4.2 oz bottle should last a while, even though I use more than directed.

Smells wonderful and makes my wife's hair so soft
My wife asked me to get this for her, since she has very fine hair that gets really dry near the ends and tangles easily. She absolutely loves this hair oil. She says that when she puts it on damp hair (from mid-length to the ends as the directions indicate), it immediately makes her hair super silky and easy to comb through. Usually, after blow-drying, she can tie her hair in a knot and it will stay there. But using this hair oil, her hair won't stay in a knot. It feels very soft and silky, and the oil doesn't make her hair look stringy like some other hair oils do. There is no greasy residue, just softness. She does say that her hair feels less silky after about a half a day after applying this oil, so it doesn't last a full day, but it can be applied dry as well if a refresh is needed. She says the oil smells really good, and it doesn't take her much to cover the bottom half of her hair. So even though this is a pretty expensive product, it will last her a long time.

Tames my flyaways and baby hairs
This oil is the best finishing step when my hair needs a little smoothness and shine without feeling heavy. It goes on really lightweight and absorbs quickly, so it doesn’t leave that greasy or sticky residue some oils can. I usually use just a small amount and it helps tame frizz and makes me feel more put together. It also works well on dry or heat-styled hair since it adds softness without weighing everything down. The scent is subtle and not overpowering, which I appreciate for everyday use. Overall, it’s a simple, easy-to-use oil that makes hair look healthier and more tamed.

Helps with defrizzing
I think this argan oil helps with defrizzing. I put a little in my hair after a shower before blow drying and styling and it helps with frizz. Without making my hair too greasy a little goes a long way though So it's a great value for the money cuz it's going to last a while but I have to be careful not to use too much that I don't want my hair to be greasy as I have fine hair. So just a little bit goes a long way and helping to defrize my hair.

Lightweight
I've actually never used a dry oil for my hair and now that I have one I'm wondering why I didn't try one sooner! My hair can definitely get weighed down by oil but I like the hydrating and smoothing properties that oils have so it can be a little tricky to find ones that work for me but that don't leave my hair feeling heavy and looking greasy. This oil is so lightweight but it definitely helps add just a touch of hydration to my hair and it's perfect for taming flyaways . It also does a nice job of making my hair look shiny but not greasy. I will definitely be using this a lot and I would totally recommend it to anyone else who wants a lightweight but effective oil.

Nourishing hair oil
This hair oil comes in a nice pretty big bottle with a pump, which makes it very easy and convenient to use. The texture is light, and it spreads smoothly through my hair without feeling heavy or greasy. I usually apply it to mid-lengths and ends on dry hair and just leave it in. It helps reduce frizz and gives my hair a more shiny, polished look. I also really love the scent. It feels natural and pleasant. I enjoy how it feels on my hair. I have long, dry hair, and this oil helps nourish and soften it, making it look better overall.

Lightweight, nourishing hair oil with long lasting softness and shine
This hair oil is the perfect balance, not too thick and not too thin. I really don’t have to use much at all to see results, which I love because a little goes a long way. The best results for me come from applying it to damp hair and then blow drying. My hair comes out incredibly soft with an amazing shine that really stands out after styling. I’ve also tried it on dry hair, but I personally prefer the finish when it’s used on damp hair. It smells amazing, and the scent actually lasts for days, up to around four days or more for me, along with the softness. My hair never feels heavy, sticky, or weighed down after using it, and I haven’t noticed any breakage at all. Overall, it leaves my hair feeling smooth, soft, and healthy-looking without any greasy residue.

Works as well as my usual oil, but does cost eight times as much.
This is packaged beautifully and does provide quite a nice amount of product. It is higher priced than my typical argan oil, so I had the expectation that it would perform in a superior manner. Unfortunately, I did not find that to be the case. It performed fine. I used it after the Lakme serum for damaged hair and before styling. It absorbed well and I could feel that it added some additional moisture to my hair. It had a nice fragrance and it added shine to my hair. But honestly, it was unremarkable. It does exactly what a nice hair oil should do, and I liked the softness and control that it provided. But again, it costs nearly eight times as much as my regular argan oil that performs just as well, so I did deduct a star for value.

Will work for men too
One thing I can say about all the Lakme products I’ve used is that they all have a really nice scent. This scent profile of this product is probably my least favorite of their line of products. It’s not bad, but it smells a little masculine to me, a bit musky. In looking at its scent notes, I’m guessing it’s the amber that makes it lean that way for me. The oil itself is good. It says to only use 1-3 drops and you literally only need to use a couple of drops. I got this product for me, but my husband has a pretty wild head of hair so I’m passing this along to him. One other note, an inner seal or tape on the product package would be helpful to keep product from escaping and eliminate potential leaks.

Lightweight shine without the greasy feel
This is a nice lightweight hair oil if you want smoother, shinier hair without the heavy greasy feel that some oils leave behind. It works best as a finishing product or on the mid-lengths and ends, especially for helping with dry ends. Pros: The biggest strength is how light it feels. It gives hair a softer, more polished look without making it look oily or weighed down. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle should last. The pump is also convenient and helps keep from overusing it. Cons: The price is on the high side, and that is the biggest drawback. The scent may also be hit or miss depending on preference. Some may like the warm salon-style fragrance, while others may find it too strong or not their favorite. Also, if you are looking for a simple pure argan oil, this is more of a formulated hair oil than a straight argan oil. Overall, it is a good premium hair oil for smoothing, shine, and frizz control, but the value depends on how much you care about the lighter, non-greasy feel.

Argan Hair Oil
This hair oil has been such a nice addition to my routine. It’s super lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down, which is hard to find in an oil. Just a small amount makes my hair feel softer, smoother, and much more hydrated. I’ve especially noticed a difference in my dry ends and frizz. My hair looks shinier and feels silkier after using it, and the scent is really pleasant without being overpowering. It also works well on both damp and dry hair. The formula is designed to hydrate, smooth frizz, and add shine without heaviness.

Expensive but worth it
(Obligatory disclaimer: I am not a doctor, always consult with a licensed physician before adding a new pharmaceutical product to your routine.) This product has completely won me over. I was a little hesitant at first, but I have been fully converted - this stuff is worth every penny and seems to be making a real difference in my hair! My ends look fuller, my roots look healthier, and my hair genuinely feels like it is getting better over time. Despite being an oil, this product dries surprisingly well without any greasy or oily residue. It also has a very pleasant aroma that I personally enjoy. My routine is simple: apply after a shower and brush it through - and the results speak for themselves I would argue. This product is quite expensive, there is no arguing that. But if you are looking for a product like this, this is the real deal - very effective and worth every penny. I will be purchasing this again.

Argan Ol
I finally understand why people swear by dry oils after using this. A lot of hair oils either sit on top of your hair and make it look greasy after an hour or they disappear so fast you wonder if you even used anything, but this one actually gives that soft, healthy look without weighing my hair down. The smell is really nice too, kind of clean and salon-like without being overpowering. I’ve been using it mostly on my ends and after styling, and it instantly makes my hair look smoother and less frizzy without making it stiff or oily. A little goes a long way, which surprised me because I expected to need several pumps. My hair has been feeling a lot softer and less dry throughout the week, especially with heat styling. It gives that “my hair is behaving today” kind of confidence.

Argan Oil works but the scent may not be for everyone.
I’ve shifted from having straight, smooth hair to thin, dry strands that easily feel weighed down. This led me to explore various oils, and I finally found this argan oil, which controls frizz without flattening my hair. It absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue, while keeping my hair light, soft, and bouncy. The scent is warm and salon-like, lasting for days without being overpowering. I typically use just a pump or two on damp hair before blow-drying or apply it to the mid-lengths and ends of dry hair for touch-ups. This oil smooths flyaways, controls frizz and visibly improves my hair's ends over time. The pump dispenses a controlled amount, making the bottle last. While it is priced higher than basic argan oils, it justifies its cost with its effectiveness. However, it’s not dramatically superior to cheaper alternatives. The fragrance may appeal to many, but it could be off-putting for those sensitive to scents. Overall, this lightweight, high-quality hair oil provides hydration, shine, and frizz control without weighing my hair down. I will repurchase it, as it has genuinely improved my hair's texture and manageability, especially at the ends.

Effective at taming frizz
This oil does exactly what it promises! It has taken my drab thick, frizz prone hair to silky and shiny! What I really love about this oil is that is seems to absorb into the hair shaft, unlike some oils that only sit on top and then ultimately leave hair greasy. There is no greasiness. Instead this oil moisturizers from the inside out. My hair never feels greasy, rather it feels soft and looks shiny. Living in a humid area, I am constantly looking for a product that helps cut frizziness. This was AMAZING! I have used many products and this is definitely up with the top for frizz control! A little bit goes a long way. This bottle will last forever! Perhaps the best feature of this product is the scent. I absolutely love the subtle argan scent...a little sweet and earthy. It lasts quite awhile when applied. This oil effectively treats frizziness; creating healthy hair that is soft and shiny. The one drawback is the price. While this will last a long time, it may be more of a luxury item and be unaffordable for many.

You also dont need a lot of product making this a great value for your money in my opinion.

Tames the Grays Without the Weight
As someone neeeeearly in my 50s with increasingly gray hair, I’ve noticed my hair texture has changed a lot over the last few years. My hair is thinner, drier, and can get weighed down very easily by heavier oils. In fact, these last few years have been the first time I've had to use oils as my hair (pre-peri) has always been straight and smooth. So, it's definitely been a learning curve and not all oils are created equal! The bottle is sized well, and the pump dispenser is easy to use. I like that it's a controlled amount, and I only need one pump for my hair. There's no risk of adding too much. This bottle is going to last me a long, long while, which makes it a great value for the price. Not that it matters, per se, but the bottle looks nice, too. It's not an eyesore on my counter. The oil itself smells ah-mazing! Clean, warm, and salon-quality without being overpowering. It absorbs quickly into my hair and doesn’t leave it feeling greasy or coated. My hair feels softer, smoother, and more hydrated, but still light and bouncy. That’s hard to find with thin hair! I also appreciate that it helps tame the dryness and roughness that has (unfortunately) come along with gray hair without making my hair look flat or super greasy. After a LOT of trial and error, this is just what I've been looking for; to tame the grays without adding weight. I’d recommend it if you want hydration and shine without heaviness.

Silky smooth hair
Really pleased with this dry oil. It’s more of a splurge, but the product is fantastic quality and you only need a very small amount with each application. I like that this was a dry oil that did not leave me greasy or feeling weighed down. The smell was fantastic and just a tiny bit of product goes a very long way with this. This left my hair feeling smooth silky with next to no frizz and a whole lot of shine.

My curls are curling!!
I absolutely adore the scent of this product. I have naturally very curly/wavy textured hair and this is one of the only oils I can use in my hair that doesn't weigh it down to the point where it's flat. I fully understand the hype of a dry oil now. I find it incredibly effective at locking in my moisture, making my hair shine and controlling a lot of the frizz that I get -- and I want to heavy emphasize that last part because for real my frizz goes from 100% to maybe 10% which is wild for the humid area I'm located in. I definitely consider it effective and recommend it, especially for textured hair.

Premium hydration without the heavy residue
I’ve tried several different hair serums, but this LAKMÉ Teknia Argan Oil is clearly a high quality product that stands out from the rest. The Dry Oil formula is excellent because it provides immediate hydration and a healthy shine without leaving your hair feeling greasy or weighed down. A little goes a long way with this 4.2 fl oz bottle. It absorbs quickly into the strands, helping to smooth out frizz and making my hair feel significantly softer and more manageable. It has a very professional, salon-like feel to it, and you can tell the ingredients are refined. If you're looking for a reliable Argan Oil treatment that focuses on moisture and silkiness while maintaining a light, airy feel, this is a fantastic choice. It’s perfect for adding a finishing touch of shine or for reviving dry ends throughout the day.

Lightweight Perfection for Fine, Long Hair – A Little Goes a Long Way!
As someone with long, fine hair, finding a hair oil that provides genuine hydration without turning my strands into a greasy, weighed-down mess has always been a massive challenge. Most oils are just too heavy, but the Lakmé Teknia Argan Oil Dry Oil is an absolute game-changer. Here is why this has earned a permanent spot in my daily hair care routine: Incredibly Lightweight: The "dry oil" formula is exactly as advertised. It absorbs into the hair almost instantly. It tames flyaways and smooths out the texture while leaving my hair feeling light, bouncy, and full of natural movement. Perfect for Fine Hair: If you have fine strands, you know how easily products can make your hair look flat or slick. This product does the exact opposite—it delivers a beautiful, healthy salon-shine without sacrificing volume. Amazing Value (Highly Concentrated): Because my hair is long, I expected to need a lot of product, but I was wrong! I use less than a dime-sized amount for my entire mane. The pump dispenser makes it incredibly easy to control, meaning this 4.2 oz bottle is going to last me a very long time. Virtually Scent-Free: For anyone sensitive to overpowering perfumes or heavy fragrance in their hair care, you will love this. It is wonderfully subtle and clean, letting the performance of the product do all the talking. Final Verdict This is a premium, high-quality oil that delivers on every single promise. It smooths, hydrates, and adds shine effortlessly. If you have been struggling to find a lightweight oil that won't flatten your fine hair, look no further. It is worth every penny!

Deep moisture with no greasiness
I've used plenty of hair oils, but this argan oil from Lakme has become a new favorite. It truly is a dry oil, it looks oily on the hair strands at first but it quickly sinks in and leaves my hair smooth and moisturized. I especially like it for the ends of my hair, which are dry from color-treating. I can rub a few drops into the ends of my braid or ponytail, and it makes my hair look controlled and healthy. I can also use it on the top of my hair when I'm doing a pulled back style to minimize frizz and flyaways. I love the fragrance of this, too. It's not overwhelming but it smells like a luxurious perfume. Lakme is a premium salon brand, and it is priced like a premium brand, but this seems like a decent value to me because it's a large bottle. Since I need just a few drops at a time, it should last quite a while. I'm happy to keep using this!

Effective, but not the best value
I ordered this hair oil because my hair has been feeling drier and frizzier lately. I have long, straight, averagely thick hair. I am picky about/sensitive to fragrances, and I do think this product has a strong scent but I didn’t find it too unpleasant. I didn’t really notice the citrus notes, just a warm spice fragrance, and it lingers in my hair throughout the whole day. I followed the instructions and applied 2 pumps to my clean hair. It is lightweight but effective, making a noticeable difference in smoothing the frizz and flyaways. I think it made the ends of my hair feel a little softer, and overall my hair looked smoother and shinier without being greasy. It met my expectations for performance, however, I don’t think it’s a very good value. It doesn’t really stand out as exceptional compared to other hair oils I have tried, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it over other options.

Tames frizz, adds shine, smells great, and absorbs without greasiness.
This hair oil has been a solid addition to our routine and the frizz control is the standout result — hair looks noticeably smoother and more manageable after using it consistently. The dry oil formula absorbs without leaving that heavy, greasy feeling that some hair oils can leave behind, which makes it easy to work into a daily routine without weighing your hair down. The scent is really pleasant too — not overpowering but just enough to make the application feel like a little treat rather than a chore. Hair feels silky and has a natural shine that looks healthy rather than overdone. The ends in particular have responded well which is usually where dryness and frizz show up the most. At 4.2 oz it's a decent size that should last a good while with regular use, and the argan oil formula feels genuinely nourishing rather than just coating the surface. TLDR: Tames frizz, adds shine, smells great, and absorbs without greasiness. A solid everyday hair oil that delivers on its promises.

More silicone than Argan, not a great smell
Number one ingredient before Argan oil is silicone so if you're looking for a true Argan hair oil this isn't it! I don't know how they justify the price on this, I don't think it's worth that much for what it actually is value-wise. That said it's a nice lightweight oil that does add moisture to your hair and helps protect from heat with the silicone. It is effective. I don't mind silicone in products after the shower, so this works for me! Your hair will feel softer if you add this after the shower on still damp hair, it helps seal in moisture to your strands. The bottle will last a long time as you only need 1-2 pumps to coat all your hair without making it too heavy. Really not a personal fan of the fragrance, old lady floral-like. It's not noticiable though once your hair drys out with the small amount you need.

Lightweight and not greasy, but don't think it does much
No Scent Very light oil - like it doesn't seem like pure oil so doesn't weight down my hair and look greasy, but didn't do much. What I liked: ✔️ I like how not greasy this is. A lot of hair oils are so greasy that I don't care to use them, but this was like lighter version of it and not so heavy ✔️ Lightweight ✔️ Tamed some frizz Things to consider: ➖ I felt like I needed a lot and I applied it to the ends of my hair and I don't think it did much ➖ I apply oils mainly to my ends Overall: I don't know about this one. Though it was lighter and not so greasy, I don't think it did much. I have yet to find a hair oil that I like.
