This has become one of my top spring/summer fragrances. It's fresh, masculine, clean, and professional. Lasts most of the day. Classy to boot. Works for day or night and isn't overpowering in small spaces.
My Dad loves this because it "lasts all day". He's a smoker and this goes a long way to mask the "smoker smell" and he gets tons of compliments on it.
The opposite of what you would expect from the name and the packaging. This is not a smokey old wood, leather and tobacco fragrance. Quite the opposite, it is super fresh light smelling more along the lines of L'Eau d'Issey.
I am a huge fan of Truefitt & Hill products. The Grafton cologne is not overpowering as long as you use only one spray. I found that after when I take my shirt off at the end of the day, say 10 hours later, I can still smell the cologne on it because I spray the top of my shirt and no, it does not stain any shirt at all
Truefitt & Hill is one of the best of the English shave house suppliers. They have taken care of Royalty and still hold an official Royal Warrant to procure products to the Royal Family. This balm smells geat, somewhat oceanic. You will smell like either a rich guy or a yachts man. It provides great moisture and soothes after your shave. This is one of the top balms you can buy. I highly recommend.
Very classy scent for home, office, or event. I first believed that it held subtle similarities to aqua di gio, but the scent signature is very different when compared side by side, but they are both classy. Subtle hints of grapefruit mixed into the smoothness. I highly recommend.
I have been using 1805 for almost 20 years now, and the bottle I received today is different. The formula seemed to change a bit post pandemic, but this bottle is strange. The bottle itself feels off, the smell is not the same, and it even atomizes differently. I dont know if it's because I ordered it through Amazon instead of direct, but seeing as the seller is TF&H I can't see why it would be any different. Pretty disappointed, especially given the price increase.
I’ve worn this for years. It is subtle, not overbearing, and smells great. Every woman that has noticed it, has completed me well on it.
It took forever to arrive, but it was worth the wait. The fragrance is definitely masculine, very old school, and very classy. This would work very well at a swanky affair, at work, or during your down time. The fragrance lasts a good amount of time and doesn't fade away quickly as some others do.

1805 is a great cologne. I finally ran out of it after years of having it. This is definitely not an everyday cologne. I haven't purchased this through amazon, but from a salon, and most recently the Truefitt site.
Smells great on my husband! Trufitt and Hill make wonderful products. Wish they were easier to acquire in the USA. :)
Got my order when it was supposed to arrive
I know when it comes to cologne everyone has their own idea of what they like but this is one of my favorites and when I ran out of the first bottle I ordered a replacement. Unknown to me however, my wife, wishing to surprise me, also order me a replacement ordered a bottle from her computer the same day. Imagine my amazement when a package from Amazon had 2 bottles inside!
Fantastic product - wish it lasted longer. West Indie Limes is also fantastic and last slightly longer.
The story behind trufitt and hill is intriguing. It was developed by a barber.in 1806 and being in the beauty industry my husband loves it. Very aromatic but not over powering

When I first smelled this stuff I didn't really care for it but now it's one of my favorites. The scent of the 1805 product line is very classy and sophisticated.
I like it. And better yet the wife does. Not overpowering after it dries. Seems to last about half a day as most other colognes do as well.
I love the T&H 1805. The scent is in the same ballpark than Issey Miyake's L'eau d'Issey Pour Homme.
Clean classic scent. My husband always gets compliments, and people often ask for the brand. Fine value and quality for the price. You only need a small amount; the product will last a while.
